I don't often write about tools. I felt I had to tell you about my experience after testing a pre-release version of the Clipn.ai app for a few weeks.
One of the hardest things for me as a solo content creator who makes long-form videos for weekly livestreams has always been this: how do I repurpose long videos for TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts without spending hours in a video editor?
Then I came across Clipn.ai, an AI video clip maker made by QQAI.ai, a company based in Victoria, Canada. It does something I've never seen before: it uses AI video repurposing technology to turn long, horizontal recordings into vertical clips that are ready for social media. These clips come with auto-generated subtitles, hooks that will get people to watch, and formatting that works best on all major platforms.
This is what really blew me away:
AI highlight detection: You upload your video, and Clipn.ai picks out the parts that people will like the most. No more going through the timeline or cutting things by hand.
Auto captions: The app automatically adds styled, editable captions. They're precise and well-made, which makes them perfect for short videos.
Automatic vertical formatting: It instantly changes your footage to a vertical aspect ratio, so you don't have to crop it by hand for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.
What happened?
It used to take sixteen hours, but now it only takes fifteen minutes. I export 5 to 10 social clips from each livestream in batches and then upload them to a number of sites. My content is cleaner, gets more views, and gets more comments, follows, and conversions.
I never thought an app would be so important to my content repurposing process, but Clipn.ai has really earned its place.

I don't often suggest tools. Clipn.ai is a must-try AI tool for social media video clipping if you make content or want to.
